Hoppy Tales: Benito & Honeybun

Honeybun was rescued by volunteers in Colonial Heights back in September 2024. Released outside as a young bunny, likely an abandoned Easter gift, Honeybun was undersocialized, and as a result terrified and aggressive for several months following her rescue. ❤️‍🩹

Honeybun's behavioral aggression went away after her spay surgery, and after spending months in foster care, she began to seek out human affection. 🥰

When her foster went on vacation, one of our longest volunteers, Megan (who designed our logo and website) offered to watch her - and the rest is history! Honeybun quickly bonded to Megan's husband and their solo bunny, Benito. 🐇💓🐇

Benito is an RVASBS Alum rescued at our first case in Midlothian. He was a foster fail that is treated like a king in their house.
