What's the difference between wild and domestic bunnies?
So, you’ve seen a bunny outside. How do you know if they are supposed to be there or not?
It can be a little difficult sometimes, but here are some things to know:
Domestic and wild bunnies are two different species. Domestic bunnies cannot survive outside because they do not have the same instincts as wild bunnies!
The primary wild rabbit species in Virginia is the Eastern Cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus). Here are some facts about the Eastern Cottontail:
